Griego Alessi compared to Greg Black NY cup depths

On the old forum there was a thread where the cup depths of the Griego Alessi and the Greg Black Alessi/NY got compared. As far I understand the cup depths are pretty comparable?

Does, for example, the 5C have the same depth as GB NY5?

I hope someone have first hand experience!

I have owned both sets of mouthpieces and the brands play quite differently. I suppose there are lots of variables as they are very different designs, so it’s difficult to compare them directly as they vary in weight, cup depth and throat size etc.
I have an Alessi 1B and 1C, and I also had a GB 1M, 1.25M and 1.5M.
In the 1 size the Alessi rims are wider, so the 1 GB felt smaller for my chops.
The GB 1 played a little small for orchestral playing for me, and I would say the 1.25M was quite heavy and played heavier with a bigger more direct sound than the 1B, but the 1B sounded wider and more natural. The 1.25M also felt slightly deeper than the 1C, but they are different. The 1C felt shallower but made a wider sound also.
It was a matter of personal taste though which one was “better”.
I found the 1.5M to be a big boy, it is deeper and plays heavier for me than the 1C.
They are all good pieces, and I suppose it depends on your concepts and equipment.

I won't name drop but there was a wonderful someone who got this info from the horse's mouth. I'll use the 1 series for example (even though the rims are different). FYI the Griegos are inbetween regular and medium GB.

GB NY1-Griego 1C
GB NY1.25-inbetween 1D-E
GB NY1.5-1F

How deep is something like a 52d compared to the Greg blacks and Alessi line?
