Vincent Bach 11 Mouthpiece

Post by Grah »

Can one still purchase a new Vincent Bach 11 Trombone mouthpiece? If so, where? Remember, I am in Australia, but I guess mail order would do.

I am not even aware if Vincent Bach are still manufacturing. It is ages since I tried to buy any hardware whatsoever.

(Transcribing jazz solos is fraught with difficulties because exact rhythmic notation is well-nigh impossible. So listen carefully because it's the only way to learn how to play jazz trombone so that we can return to the Golden Age.) 8-)

Hi Grah. Haven't seen you here for a while.

Mouthpiece Express has them, and I believe they ship internationally:

Still manufacturing instruments, mouthpieces, and accessories.

Of course Vincent Bach has long been part of the conglomerate Conn-Selmer, Inc. (a division of Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc.). Mouthpieces still readily available at most retail outlets.

You may also get a good price (even with shipping to Australia) on an excellent used Bach 11 mouthpiece from a TromboneChat member!
