Lead Pipes

Post by Conn100HGuy »

I play a Conn 100H that came with 3 lead pipes, numbered 1, 2, and 3. Can anyone tell me if these numbers mean anything? Is there some sort of standard used by manufacturers when they assign the number?

Thanks,

Joel

In general, 1 is the “tightest” of the three and 3 is the most open, with 2 being in the middle...usually.

Thank you! I recently switched from 1 to 3 and the difference has been remarkable.
