What’s this lead pipe?

Post by conn88Hagmann »

This leadpipe came to me with a Conn 4762 slide. It’s superb, but what is it?

Who did you buy it from? It looks like it has Conn threads on it but in most circumstances, IDing a leadpipe is not possible without other context clues. The only way to know is if someone happens to know what G/LVG stands for. It isn't ringing any bells for me but there have been a lot of options over the years.

Conn's pipes should all have the leadpipes labeled with a letter on the collar.
