Wessex Valve Trombone

Has anyone bought or played on one of Wessex new "short" valve trombones? They are offered in both Bb and C. I'm looking for a new valve bone but don't want anything stuffy. They are listed at .490 bore 8" bell.

I don't know about them.
I'd love someone to make a sweet large-bore valve trombone.

Definitely! Would be nice. The Wessex are "short" in their redesign. Hate to risk $450 and have it be stuffy............hoping to get some feedback. I may just look for a good deal on an old Olds valve bone.
