Has anyone put a Bach bell on an Edwards? If so, what were the results?

I play an Edwards T350 CR-E with a 42G Corporation bell flare, and it plays and feels really great. For me, it's a classic Bach sound with the feel and playability of Edwards horns.

I have a 36G Corporation, 36 and 42 bell flares waiting to be also modified to fit on my Edwards chassis

Yes, I got the Edwards tuning slide receiver & ferrule, bell flange and nuts (thanks, Eric!). I'm anxious to modify my other 3 bells! :D

I thought the bell throat was smaller on the Bach. How do they make it fit?

The top of both Edwards and Bach bells are actually very similar in size. The difference is in the tuning slide tube and ferrule being "much" bigger on the Edwards. (The tuning slide actually increases in size to be larger than the bell dia) In the Edwards factory, the bell tail is flared with a tapered brass plug to fit the ferrule. So, with a Bach bell, either you're going to need a "LOT" of solder (please don't do that) flare the bell (not my preferred choice), or shim to fit.

FWIW.
