Hi everybody
I just wanted to share with you my newest trombone... I found an old German bone on ebay for 200€ a few years ago, which played awesome for its age. But in between i purchased an Olds Recordings with F-att, which i used to still the F-wrap from, and adapt it on the German trombone. To finish the custom job i removed the original brass bell and fitted my old King Tempo nickel-plated one, which is almost twice as thick as the original. I just love its projection.
I had to modify the valve a little bit, to be able to mount another mechanism than the original Olds. I also used parts of different organ-donners, to be able to fit everything together. I converted the remaining Olds frame into a straight trombone, which plays amazingly well !
