B&S Alto Trombone Modell 3049

Post by Olenr1 »

Hi there!
I am about to purchase an alto trombone B&S Modell 3049, and I am searching info and experience info on this instrument. Anyone here that plays this instrument or know something more about it?. I can't find much info on this instrument on the internet. It seems to be dualbore 11.2mm-11.7mm (.441“ - .461” dualbore). Some name it "Challenger 3049" , but that might be another modell?

Regards Ole

Hi and welcome! :hi:

I thought Challenger was a brand name for Courtois. B&S and Courtois are made in the same place, so I guess they could make a B&S Challenger as well.

We do have a member who works for Courtois and maybe he knows something.
