The 71, 72, 73, 83, and early small bell 70H all used the same mandrel. The 60, and 62H used the larger mandrel.

BTW it is not just the throat that is larger, the entire bell shape of the 6x series is larger than the small bell series horns. This carries over to the tuning slide as well. The small bell series horns tuning slide dimensions will actually fit inside the larger 60 series parts!!

The early "Fuchs" 70H from the 20's also had the larger bell, but who knows if it was the same mandrel as used for the 60 series??
