Conn 100h w/valve section?

Post by mcphatty00 »

So, I have a 100H. I love it, but I have another small horn (King Liberty) that will be primarily used for my jazz purposes. I do feel like the 100H bell would be very nice with a set of valves. Is this possible?

Absolutely! That's essentially what Bob Brookmeyer played. A standard 5G valve section should work on a 100H.

Did you mean an f attachment or a valve trombone option? Both are possible but obviously the advice is going to be radically different

A set of valves. I would like to get them for either the 100H or the Liberty. I'm leaning towards the 100H.

Hello,

I take advantage of this conversation to ask you where I could find materials on the 100H (when did they start to produce it...).

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Kind regards
