Bach 50B3O serial number

Post by BoomtownRath »

Hi,

I am testing out a Bach 503BO with yellow slide and yellow 9 1/2" bell in absolute immaculate condition. A shop here in the netherlands took in as a trade in and it play's really well, it seems that it was hardly played as the laquer is 100% intact! I'm curious as to when it was manufactured...... serial # is 1791xx.

I can't find any info online on the bach loyalist or adams sites. The Bach loyalist tracks numbers up until 1994 115000 but can't find anything after that.

Anyone?

Probably just a later 90s horn. If it's good, it's good.

Probably early 2000’s. I am fairly certain that the 42B I played in college (bought new in 1999) was in the 140,000s (I think it was 147XXX).
