Yamaha YBL 322

I'm watching a YBL322 on eBay. Does anyone if this bass bone can be pulled to E tuning and capable of playing an intune low B? Or is the hand slide too short?

Our Bass Trombonist here uses one of these for some lighter playing. Yes, this model has a long enough pull on the F attachment and a long enough slide to reach a B natural using E tuning for the valve. The more recent version of this horn (4-something, I don't know the model) that Yamaha makes does not have enough distance on the F attachment slide to get a B.

No, not mine. There are a few basstrombones that have longer slides such as for example the Conn 70H, 71H and 72H (a Yamaha 322 is not one of them) but I do not think my arms are long enough to get that B out there anyway.

Not a YBL-322, but my YBL-321 doesn't have a low B when tuned to E (nor a low C when tuned to F), FWIW. Not sure how different the two models are but the only difference I know of is the bell material.

I had 322 and 321 the first one fought 1984. Non of the have a low C in the F tuning without lipping it down, nor a low B in E tuning. Well you can allways lipp down.....
