12H bell on a 6H/48H slide

Post by shinythings7 »

Just asking if it is possible to put a 12h bell section on a Conn .500" bore slide. I would think it would not be possible since the connection points would be different sizes since the 12h slide bore is .485".

And a related question, has anyone put a 12h bell on a 6h bell section? Are the parts not even remotely compatible?

That's good to know. I might try some things with that to see how it goes.

Does anyone know if the 18H uses the same tenons as well?
