I`ve been listening to a lot of Jimmy Cleveland lately, Does any one know what his horn/mouthpiece set up was?
I can`t tell if it`s a 2B or a 3B?
He has such a super light sound and is sooooo quick.

He played 2Bs and 3Bs earlier on, then a 6h for a long time. In fact, it was up for sale a few months back on reverb:

The King 605 student model back in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s was named the “Cleveland” model.

The horn in the advert is actually a 6H with a lightweight outer slide ....... nice.
