transitions

I have found that the places where I stumble are often in transitions from one technique to another. Referencing Harrison's post on ah-ee, I found for instance it's possible to completely explore how that works in slur, but then fall off the bike in single or multi-tongue. Or adding volume. Or moving from single to muti, etc.

To train through this tye problem I have taken to modifying little exercises for immediate repeat with different techniques, so one follows another in time with no break. I illustrate one below, that could be done in every position starting on any partial, and the pattern inverted.
