Throat movement during multiple tonguing

Post by Bassjs »

Does anyone have experience with minimizing or eliminating throat movement while double tonguing or working on their second syllable? My throat seems to get involved and lock the tongue down in a sense.

Try to move the "G" to a more forward part of your tongue. You're probably using "K" which involves too much motion too far back.

And practice it without the horn, while singing a note.
