Disney World Main Street Philharmonic

Post by Nhtrombone »

Anybody know who’s playing trombone in the Main Street Philharmonic at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL? I’ll be there at the end of February and always make a point to hear them. Would love to say hey to whoever is playing.

A real 'Mickey Mouse' outfit?

On a more serious note (and to underscore the level of talent at Disney) - Drew Ochoa, singing in the 'Voices of Liberty' at Epcot and as a 'Dapper Dan' at Disney World - is lead singer for the current international gold medal BHS quartet 'After Hours.' Drew and 'After Hours' performed in Nashville last week - excellent harmonies that any trombone player would enjoy.

The regular section in the Main Street Phil is Keith Oshiro, Chris "Crash" Clifton, Tony Hill (bass) with Will Nestler and Josh Parsons on Sousaphones. All fantastic players and great people. The band is more than worth the effort to hear.
