RIP. A great sound, and recording right to the end.

(The album he released earlier this year - Plenitude - includes a new Sweet Lucy... a nice touch.)

RIP. A HUGE influence on my concept and playing, as I dove pretty deeply into Brazilian, starting in the late 1970's. He truly expressed a unique voice through the horn. Sad.

One of his first albums, A Vontade Mesmo is on Spotify and I think it's his best work. He recorded it under the name Raulzinho.

I’m not a collector, I just have too many trombones….
