Do you know if this brace will fit an 88H with a closed wrap?
I have not tried it on one, but looking at pics of an 88h, there is a real good chance it will.

Not so much about large tenor, but I love my 1C-1D for my bass. I had a "fitting" at the last Shires factory day and hands down this one clicked with me and my horn. I asked them not to tell me what they were having me try so it wouldn't color my playing or my judgement and I ended up on a larger pi...

FS: Wessex 1CB mouthpiece (bass shank contrabass)

Mint condition, shank is true and round, only played a few times. It's about 1.18" rim, about as deep as a 1G and has a bass trombone shank (also fits Eb tubas, I think). A great piece if you need to cover a contra part on your bass. Definitely not a daily driver. $25 includes shipping in US. PayPal...

BII German screw bell, like-new. This was made for Shires by a German bell maker (I don't know who). I bought it new and had the screw collar added and had it totally refinished by Shires. This is one-of-a-kind. It's a 70/30 yellow brass with nickel silver krantz ring. Priced to move at $495 plus sh...

B62NLWC handslide, .562 bore nickel light-weight, but with a wide large tenor end crook. It's the handslide from the older Chicago model tenor, but works really well on bass. Bose SoundLink Revolve or Revolve Plus might be an option. I have the "non plus" model and it gets decently loud. They usually have these out in like Target or Best Buy where you can listen to them.

It is similar, but the pad that rests on your hand is much larger and more comfortable and the amount of adjustments is pretty much infinite. Have you tried a Hagmann brace? You can literally hold the horn with no fingers, so the only strain on them is to operate the valves. I used to use one but found the Shires thumbrest works well enough for me now.

I had a Fusion. It was nice. A little clumsy to get the horn in and out. Light. I ended up with a dent in the bell flare one day - the way it is, there is nothing keeping the weight of the valves off the bell flare, so you have to set it down very very gently if you've got a bass. An accidental slip...
