Hi goodgig, I have K, a great horn. The pity thing is that Selmer has discontinued the trombone production after the acquisition of Bach corp. So there is no popularity of Selmer trombone anymore in general market(not like us) compared with the Mark 6 saxophones which prices reaching to $10,000. You...

I have Edwards straight tenor(.547) with Conn type slide joint. Actually I use Conn 8H slide on it. Curiously I want to know the period that Ed. had the option of Bach or Conn Slide. I think that after the end of period the company has divided Getzen with Conn slide and Ed. with Bach slide. No excha...

I take my Conn62H, a dependent, because people easily recognize that it is bass trombone with double valve. When I play YBL321, a single bass, someone does not see it is bass.
If I do not need 2nd valve on the music I simply prefer single bass for rehearsals because of the weight advantage.
