I have played on an Edwards Thayer with the same set of nylon joints for 30 years without changing or oiling them... and I play for a giving so that's 3+hrs a day. High mileage and still quiet and smooth.

This is the third time that it's been listed. He started at $12, 999 and has lowered it in $500 increments. After another 18 or 20 listing cycles, I might bite!

The horn looks like it is a Calicchio (known for custom trumpet mouthpieces) and a custom to boot. Note the bottom of the engraving where it appears to say "built for Raul de Souza." You can see the bell a couple of times during the video.
