Also 1 1/4G is shallower than both D and MD with a slightly different room shape and size.

I believe I traded some DE parts and $75 for it, the mouthpiece arrived in great shape, and I still drive it daily to this day. If this really interests you I can even screenshot the emails...

While the Q looks very similar to the regular horn, there are some obvious differences: valve cap and main tuning slide for starters. Anyone who has played an M&W will know how much the valve cap can change the horn, so this might not be as insignificant as some are bound to believe.

I have a NY 22SC that is in ridiculously good shape. I am playing smaller and smaller rims but this is way too small. Feels a size or 2 smaller than a 15, which makes sense.

I have mine for sale and have had little interest, so I guess that speaks for itself.

He’s a game changer on the trombone.

What equipment does he use now?
His horn is listed on Rath's website under artists. All nickel R10 (.500 bore).

I'm pretty sure he has always played a NY Bach 7 (not 7C). Maybe it was modified but I'm not sure.

Changing the old Post as I like the R3 as a large shank horn better.

Here is a press fit (no threads) Bach 36 Leadpipe from the corporation era. It plays well in the Rath, but I think I'll end up with just a tighter large shank pipe.
