Yes, when I was a teenager learning trombone, the Tijuana Brass were very big.  There were Tijuana Brass songbooks for brass groups, but the trumpets got all the melody.

I was determined not to let that stop me.

I rarely go to movies in theaters anymore because the volume is too loud and the mix is so bad that the music obscures the dialog.

I just wait until the movies come to my Tivo and then I can watch them with closed captioning on.

For the OP's horns, I concur with the H&B Stonelined.

But for larger bores and symphony work, I've been using an Alessi/Vacchiano for about fifty years and have seen no reason to change.  (Still using the same mute I bought fifty years ago too.)

After you reformat, copy the files in small batches.

(Your systems sounds quite slow.  Is it an old computer with old USB?  If it's a newer computer, maybe you just need a USB 3 stick.)
