There was a guy back then in San Diego who had a bunch of King trombones with G-attachments. He also used pretty models to display his horns. It's been a few years though... It seems like his name was Anthony, Antonio or Tony - something like that. He seemed to make a good case for the G-attachment...

Always been a Schilke fan... then I discovered Hammond pieces... then Laskey. Result: Schilke 51 and 51C4 with a Hammond 12 rim, as well as the Hammond 12S to the 12XL for alto, tenor and euph. Laskey 85MD and Hammond 20BL for bass (Schilke 60 on hand "just in case" and a 59 in the glove compartment...
