Shires T47 slide measurements

Post by LarryPrestonRoberson »

Greetings all! I'm looking for Shires hand slide measurements for comparison. My particular slide model is a T47GLW. But, information about any standard variation of the T47 should be fine. I'm only looking for measurements for standard (narrow/Conn style) slides. No wide (TW47) or bass width (TB47) slide measurements please.

I'm not sure if this is the standard way to take hand slide measurements. But, the format I have listed would be meaningful/helpful for my purposes. Please feel free to copy, fill-in, and paste in your reply. Thanks!

Overall:
1) from tip of end bumper (no rubber) to even with tenon (center line):
2) bottom of crook to even with tenon (center line):

Outer slide:
– bottom of crook to even with ends of tubes (reinforcements):
Inner tubes:
1) lower tube (bell side)—end to end (stocking to tenon):
2) upper tube—end to end—stocking to “top” of leadpipe receiver:

I’m still looking for measurements for Shires T47 slides (& variations). I would appreciate it if anyone has one is willing to take measurements.
