Does contact of yellow brass and lead cause corrosion of the brass?

Yellow brass (some alloys) contain lead. Also, solder (until the RoHS era) contains lead. Never seen these to cause corrosion of the brass. Nor electrolytic corrosion.

Lead all by itself isn't going to be an issue.

OTOH, flux is usually present whenever lead (i.e., traditional tin/lead solder) and brass come together, and residual flux can cause corrosion (thus the classic "acid bleed" that sometimes happens next to soldered bell beads).
