FS: Williams Model 6

Up for sale is an excellent trombone, the coveted Williams 6! You'll be hard-pressed to find a specimen more excellent than this one. To be honest, I'm very happy to keep this one, but would release it for the right price. Man, what a great horn this is for recordings!
It has the original curly spit valve, the slide is exceptional, and the horn plays like a dream. Much bigger than you'd think. I suppose that big bell helps. It also projects wonderfully with very little effort. I am all about no effort.
Problems? Yeah, one. Cosmetic only. Some little mark appeared on the bell, and a misguided effort to rub it out inadvertently pulled off some lacquer. Rather than relacquering, I chose to keep the original there (95% intact) and leave the blemish unlacquered. It still looks lacquered. You can see in the pictures.
If you're interested in this one, send me a note.
If you are seriously interested (and not simply inquisitive), send me an email. My email is the first letters of this little poem:
Said you wanted a horn,
Like the one you played when young,
I told you to MAKE AN OFFER,
Perchance you shed a private tear.
Have a tissue, fellow bonester,
Or a box of junior mints.
Remember, the PM system causes much grief.
Never trust in it!

Remember, my preferences:
* I will pay CONUS shipping unless you need expedited service, etc.
* I strongly prefer to ship CONUS, but will consider shipping overseas
* I consider trades of professional-level instruments but prefer PayPal
* Buyer pays PayPal fees, if any
Thanks!
