A lot of weird-looking trombones there.
All the admonitions we get in art classes to collect good reference material before drawing something seem to have gone unheeded.
I'll add what may be the earliest trombone in a Disney cartoon...
Alice's Wonderland (1923) was Disney's demonstration/pilot for his "Alice" series , predating Oswald the Rabbit, predating Mickey (the) Mouse.
Beginning about 5:10 you can see glimpses of a trombone-playing cat(?) in the band welcoming Alice to Wonderland.
The opening live-action scenes appear to show a substantial crew behind the effort but, in fact, Walt Disney did almost all the animation himself. Quite a feat!
Walt Disney also devised the process for combining the live action girl into the animated world.

This is great. Kind of a big gap from 1961 to 2000! I can’t think of any to fill in there. Just noticed the gap.
