Planning a Christmas Concert... Right now the only chairs we've got are our standard, GIANT bright-red ones like these:

You guys can probably tell - these things are nice for comfort-sitting, but awful for posture and efficient playing, take up FAR TOO MUCH space on stage, and don't look good for that matter).

Looking not only for places in the vicinity of Syracuse, NY - better yet if they deliver and pick up - but also what design of chair to be looking for too.

I think you're expecting a bit much.

..........

Have everybody stand and use that money for a party afterwards...

Nobody is going to know what you want by asking for "music chairs."

Probably what you want is typical folding chairs.  The choices would be padded or unpadded.

What type of gig?   What is the venue?   Are any music educators involved?   Local music stores are Empire Winds http://www.empirewinds.com, Midstate Music https://www.midstatemusic.com.  Try contacting them.  Both stores are owned and operated by local musicians (and really nice people).   They might be able to set you up.
