Unsolicited compliment from SWMBO

Post by ttf_Ellrod »

I happened to mention to SWMBO that I wanted to get in a little bit more practice time tonight, and she told me that I was sounding better. I got her to narrow that down to the past month.

Hmmm. Assuming she is right (and, of course, she always is) is it:

1 my June lesson with D Elliott (lots of "everything you know is wrong" moments)
2 new mpc (Griego Oft)
3 different leadpipe
4 60-90 minute practice sessions first thing every morning when we recently rented a cabin on Gabriola Island for a week,

or some combination thereof?

Oddly enough, my chops feel like **** these days.

Don't listen to her. It only encourages them.

Compliments are always nice.

John Capon, bass bone extraordinaire, lives on Gabriola. I try to get together with him to play duets when he visits family here.
