Edwards "B-AN" single bore or "B" single bore slide

Post by ttf_bassboneman »

Has anyone out there purchased an $800.00 slide from edwards?
Is the "B-AN" literally all nickle or is it just the legs of the slide?

I am in need a single bore slide and just would love some impressions of anyone who currently owns either...

Yes, it is all nickel, 562 single bore slide. I bought the TDBAN which is the 547/562 dual bore all nickel. It is a fantastic slide and is what I use with my Friedman bell.. Greg

I'm considering buying a B slide. Seems to be similar to a Bach slide but just a touch lighter and more refined. I have the tenor equivalent  on my Edwards large tenor and love it.
