Not allowing websites in profiles for new users

Post by Elow »

So i did something that wasn’t the smartest move, i clicked on a random link in a new persons profile. That link led me to a dropbox download of a not so friendly picture. Thank god it was just a picture because it could have been worse. I was thinking of how we have the system of 2 posts before sending pm’s, but instead of pms it’s putting links in your bio. It might be hard to code or stuff, i don’t know i’m not a website person. But that feature could could rid of anyone with interesting links.

I'd be interested to know who that person was. We usually don't allow people with questionable posts to register, but I for one don't always check Web sites in the profiles.

https://trombonechat.com/memberlist.php ... ile&u=9759 I couldn’t find the same person but even this new guy has a questionable link. Is it really appropriate to advertise viagra on a site for trombones?

LK. I deleted this user; he has no posts so you must be searching members. I can't claim responsibility for personal Web sites for somebody with no posts.

Note that he joined today.

Well, I'm sure the 12-year old in all of us would say this joke writes itself.....

Well, you could either use some o' them drugs (generics apparently now available at lower price; get a prescription & buy 'em on line), ... or get a trombone with an F-attachment and use the valve! :idk:
