Great trombone player, and was years ago when he played lead for Buddy Rich for several years. As most people know Dave was the subject of one of Buddy's bus rants caught on tape. He remained on Buddy's band for more than a year after the rant.One of the few of Buddy's musicians who Buddy could not intimidate. A tough Aussie!

Just went and found those bus tapes on YouTube for the first time. Between the tapes and the comments I'm going to need to watch vids of puppies all day to cleanse my brain!
