Stork T3 heavy

Post by ttf_leec »

Hi Folks,

I just lucked out on one of these off Fleebay for $10 Cdn.  The average price new seems to be around 65-75 USD.

Never used one anyone have any comments?

Thanks,

Stork T3 heavy

I've had three Stork mouthpieces and I really dig them. A Stork was my first bass trombone mouthpiece also. It easily got me into college and helped on the road to stopping my gear addiction, though I still like it. I haven't played the T3, but I have the T2 and T1. Sounded great with the trumpets in a big band. Good focus, but for me the rim was a little round on the T1. The T2 was flatter and I think the T3 is sort of in between.

Unfortunately the cup seems too small for me to play in a relaxed way.  So if anyone is interested let me know. Apparently it is a 12c clone.

I just recently bought a Stork 5 with Doug Elliott threads so I could use my Elliott rim.
Thick, dense sound. Love it
