Superfine Handcrafted Cases - SALE!

Post by greenbean » Mon Aug 31, 2020 2:25 pm

UPDATE...

Hey, Chatters!

Some of you know that I started making gig bags recently. Others probably don't know a thing about it. I am working with Adolfo Estrella - the guy who made 95% of Glenn's bags right up until his retirement.

This might be a good time to check out our product: https://superfinecases.com/trombone-cases/ ... because...

--Forum members get $100 off* during September and

--I have Clearance items, too. Here: https://superfinecases.com/clearance/

Feel free to contact me with any thoughts or questions.

* $100 off the retail price on trombone bags. Just mention TromboneChat and you will get the discount! Sales tax required for California residents. See September 14 below post for more details.

Absolutely stunning cases.

I picked up a large tenor case from Superfine Cases a few months ago. Materials and finish is comparable if not better than the competition. What makes Superfine Cases stand out is the customer service and the willingness to do custom specs. Prices are also very reasonable and the turnaround time is lightning fast considering you're getting a custom handmade case.

I cannot recommend these cases enough. If you don't need a hard case this company should be at the top of your list.

I still intend on ordering a slim bass case one of these days!!!

Further, the main proprietor of the company is a very reputable member of TromboneChat whom I've dealt with many times. Always excellent.

With concern from some over the years about who's reputable, how not to get scammed online, etc...this is a company I would trust, no questions asked.

Nice.
If you made a screwbell case you would have no competition.

Same but bass.

Would love a US based option.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the kind words.

Did someone say screwbell?... We are working on it! I should have them ready in about a month. Small tenor, large tenor, and bass. They are based on the Touring model with separate cases. But slim!

Great!
FWIW, I am not a fan of the seperate case idea. I would be afraid to get into some semantic argument with a flight attendant over whether or not it's "one carry-on". Also I like a single rectangular case because it just seems more sturdy and you can stack it or put light things on it.
But I'm sure any case you make will be a valuable addition to the screw bell case market which is so far very limited in choices!

How about doubles, like small tenor or alto and bass, or even large tenor and bass?

That did actually happen to me, but I won by saying it's one instrument that separates just to fit better in the overhead.

But for a screw bell case, even if it's a 1 piece case, because it's so thin, fitting in the overhead isn't a problem anymore.
