FS: Conn 88H 1968 $1500

Post by shinythings7 » Tue Mar 03, 2020 1:32 pm

Hi all,

I have a 1968 Conn 88H that I am looking to sell/trade. Serial number is L16XXX. Horn is in great condition, even for its age. Wear on the contact points on the hand slide, evidence of dents taken out on the main tuning slide, and some mute dents and surface scratches on the bell. Slide is a 8/10 imo.

Reason I'm selling this horn is that, as much as I want to keep it, I have had some expenses pop up, so it is time to sell it.

Horn comes with a new Pro-Tec Pro Pac case. I literally bought the case for this horn and it has been out of my house once for when I got the trombone. Still has the tags on it.

I am selling the horn and case for $1500. You don't know until you ask. I am not interested in shipping the horn unless the buyer wants to pay all fees and take on all risk. I have shipped multiple trombones successfully, but I do not like doing it. I would be more than happy, and prefer, to drive a couple of hours to meet someone to sell it in person. Horn is located in SE CT. I will only ship within the CONT US if it comes to that.

Payment, if in person will either be cash or certified bank check. If shipped, it will be through Paypal F+F.

Pictures are here.

Please feel free to PM with any questions. Thanks for looking and have a great one.

Bump.

I've never actually sold any instrument for the price I have posted, so feel free to send me offers, both for straight sales or trades. I'd be happy to consider them. You don't know until you ask, right?

Hey! Appreciate the offer, but I'm not looking to stick with a large bore tenor. I'd honestly just have the leadpipe pulled and keep it if I wanted a .547 tenor. Thank you for offering though! It's an amazing looking horn and I bet it plays as good as it looks!
