Brassark/Reeves threads?

Post by billyball »

Hi,

Stupid question. Does anyone know if brassark/Reeves mouthpiece threads are compatible with any other makers?

I am pretty sure they are not.

You can ask for them to be.

You can have any makers threads put on. It just needs to be custom ordered.

I think the stock threads Bob Reeves uses don't match anything else.

Threads matching is one thing. The cup diameter, shape, etc... is a whole other ballgame...

I could have been a little clearer in my post...

I talked to Noah after ITF 2017 about getting a CV piece made that had Elliott LB threads. I never did get around to buying the piece... Noah said getting LB threads was possible but Reeves would need to custom make a piece that had the correct specs (cup diameter ect.) to fit the Elliott LB threads.

Bob Reeves is a full on custom shop, they are more then happy to make a truly custom mouthpiece, you just have to tell them what you want!
