Great idea!
Every time I see one of those Schagerl superbones I ask myself how someone can hold that thing for any extended period of time. Seems really uncomfortable to turn the hand backwards to use the valves.

Wouldn't it be more erconomical using the valves with the hand sideways?

Regarding the upside-down saxophone mouthpiece : I saw the "Carabinieri" Band [Policeman's Band] from Rome, Italy way back in the 60's and most of their single reed players had their mouthpieces positioned "Upside-Down" ! Was it a normal Italian method ? Nope. My guess is some stupid military order...

I have been very lucky and own, or have owned, many of the most coveted horns. I suppose the Conn Fuchs is the jewel in the crown, bought for many dollars at a time when we were getting almost $2 to the pound. I expect it will be for sale one day.... not quite yet though. Hopefully when that happen...

Hmmm hope they won't get back to me since we finally found a compromise. We'll see how that will end.

What seemed really strange to me was paypal simple decided based on my description of the case. They didn't ask for pics and didn't even bother to contact the seller.

Seller... not so much but if you have all your proverbial ducks in a row it should be okay. Yeah that's what I begin to think about it. You really have to be careful as a seller with paypal. Meanwhile the seller accepted a compromise and I will refund him a fair amount once paypal sent me my money ...
