Another advantage with a soprano is it fits in a handbag and can travel safely on a flight.

/Tom
And can be played on a flight, unless that would disturb others.

Plus the size means that it will much more convenient to practice while operating a hang-glider.

Re: Le Freque sound inhancer

Clearly it cannot function like the advertising hype claims, at least not without violating the laws of physics. No, it follows the fundamental law of Thermos-ticity. If you want a bright tone out of your piccolo, put it on, and your tone will get brighter. If you want a dark tone out of your bass ...

10?

I count 3 double layer valves and one single layer valve that changes between the layer of the other valves. Even if you count the double layer valves as 2 valves, that give 7. How do you get 10? Just curious.
I saw 10 spinny things that looked like valve caps, so I figure 10 valves.

I haven't tried one, but I know some people who really like them. I know a flute player who is sold.

Some people really like the Acousticoil, too, though I've never tried one of those, either.

How do you think it works?

I would sure hope so. It's not a large expenditure and adds to, or at least establishes a tradition, something a youngish country could always use more of.

It's an early valve design. A double piston, with each piston having only two passages - one straight through and the other with one port on the the side and the other at the bottom. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_instrument_valve#Double-piston_valve Very interesting! Thank you for the link.
